Tom founded the house standard. In twelve years he has planned journeys for families, filmmakers and the quietly wealthy — and turned down more briefs than he accepted, because a journey he cannot stand behind is not a journey he will sell.

His craft is subtraction. A first draft of any itinerary runs twice as long as the final cut; the work is deciding what the journey is really about, then removing everything that dilutes it. Two main experiences a day, named hotels, rare accesses confirmed in writing — the rules he wrote are the rules he keeps.
